Not only was Blackburn Rovers U21’s 6-1 win over Manchester United on the weekend a remarkable result, it also featured as many as 6 former Moorland stars!
Indeed, 4 of the goals for Rovers were scored by Moorland old boys in the form of Jack Vale (2), Adam Wharton & Harry Leonard to boot!
The other former Moorland pupils involved in Rovers’ sensational win in Leyland, were Paddy Gamble, Georgie Gent & Jay Haddow.
